I’m a technology nerd. I’ve been pretty passionate about networking, Linux, the Internet and information security since I was a young child. Now, in my adult-hood, I’ve been working professionally with technology for about ~16 years. The road has been bumpy and I’ve worked jobs that made me lose interest in technology for periods of time, but I now work at a job that fuels my interest and has ignited a passion for technology in me that I felt when I was younger. This site is mainly used as an information dump of my thoughts, labs, and experiments. I hope that you find something that interests you! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to get in contact with me – james.williams_at_packetgeek.net, or twitter.
My other sites:
http://www.securitygeek.net – Currently redirects back to this site. This was the first domain that I ever bought. I’ve owned it since December of 2000. I’ve been offered money for it, but I’ll most likely never give it up.
http://www.progressivescuba.com – My other passion outside of technology. Scuba Diving!
