AMS Eval — Privacy Policy

Overview

AMS Eval is designed for monitoring Acute Mountain Sickness in remote, high-altitude environments. Your health data stays on your device and under your control.

Data Collection

AMS Eval does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking SDKs are included.
• No user accounts or sign-in are required.
• No data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Health Data

AMS Eval records Lake Louise Score assessments, which may include symptom scores and severity classifications. This health-related data is:

• Stored locally on your device.
• Never transmitted to external servers without your explicit action.
• Synced across your own devices via Apple CloudKit when connectivity is available.

CloudKit sync uses your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Location Data

The app uses GPS and barometric pressure to determine altitude for assessment context. Location and altitude data is stored locally and is not shared with any third party.

Person Data

Names or identifiers entered for tracked individuals are stored locally on your device and synced only via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this information.

Third-Party Services

AMS Eval does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple CloudKit for optional device-to-device sync via your personal iCloud account.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected by us, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
