  • No analytics or tracking SDKs are included.
  • No user accounts or sign-in are required.
  • No data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

On-Device Data

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted externally:

  • Projects: Fieldwork project data and organization.
  • GPS Waypoints & Tracks: Location recordings with coordinates and metadata.
  • Field Notes: Text and voice-transcribed notes linked to projects and waypoints.
  • Offline Maps: Downloaded map tiles stored for offline use.

Location Data

Ayllu uses your device's GPS to record waypoints and tracks. Location data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. You may export your data as GPX files at your discretion.

Camera & Microphone

The app may request access to your camera for field photography and your microphone for voice transcription. Photos and transcriptions are stored locally and are not shared with any third party. Voice transcription is performed entirely on-device.

Network Usage

The app connects to the internet only for:

  • Map Tile Downloads: Downloading OpenTopoMap tiles for offline use. No personal data is sent during these requests.

Ayllu does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
